Esse 750 serves as a "dinghy" on historic steamyacht

Last week, we delivered a brand new Esse 750 in Tarragona, Spain. What makes this delivery so unique: The elegant gray carbon racer will not get its own dock in a yacht harbor, but on the deck of another, much larger yacht: the historic steamship "Nahlin".

The 300 feet long “Nahlin", built in 1930, served as a floating vacation residence for Britains King Edward VIII and King Carol II of Romania. Today, the ship is owned by a British entrepreneur.
For his voyages to the world’s most beautiful coasts, the owner wanted to have a sporty, easy-to-handle, and rapidly deployable sailing vessel on board.
"We’ve delivered our boats all over the world, but delivery on to the deck of a 300-foot steamer was an exceptional order," says Josef Schuchter. In the meantime, the Esse 750 is cruising the Mediterranean aboard its "mother ship", Nahlin, providing the owner with pure sailing fun in one the most spectacular waters around the globe.
