Produktionsupdate zur Esse 890

27. February 2026

The first Esse 890 is steadily taking shape. Thanks to modern manufacturing techniques and careful planning, the moment when the boat can be experienced as a complete vessel draws ever closer. Even now, its clean lines and proportions are clearly visible—a glimpse of the performance, elegance, and uncompromising functionality that define the Esse 890.

The construction of the first Esse 890 is gaining momentum. The hull molds are already in use, and the carbon layers are being carefully laid to create the hull using the state-of-the-art vacuum infusion process. At the same time, the molds for the deck are taking shape, while the keel and rudder are being crafted at our facility in Stäfa. The carbon rig is expected to arrive in the coming days – another step toward completion.

Many tasks are running simultaneously and must be perfectly coordinated to keep our deliberately tight production schedule on track. Decisions are continuously reviewed and adjusted, new challenges are tackled, and creative solutions are developed. In our office, fittings and models of the various interior components are stacked so that every part finds its exact place and is correctly dimensioned.

Even now, the size, proportions, and clean lines of the boat are clearly visible in the molds. Construction is progressing rapidly – and we can hardly wait for the moment when the first Esse 890 is launched and experienced as a complete, fully realized vessel.
