The Interior of the Esse 890 – Three Concepts, One Boat

03. March 2026

The Esse 890 is designed with performance in mind – yet remains deliberately flexible. The interior also follows a clear, practical concept. Depending on the intended use, the Esse 890 is available in three configurations: as a comfortable weekend cruiser, a streamlined daysailer, or a purist racer.

Thanks to its modular layout, the yacht can also be customized to individual preferences – tailored to personal needs and the planned use, without compromising its sporty performance.

With the Esse 890, we pursue an uncompromisingly functional approach to the interior as well: form follows function – and every detail has a clearly defined purpose. The space below deck is designed not to alter the character of the Esse, but to support it: lightweight, structured, and reduced to the essentials.

Depending on personal preferences and intended use, the Esse 890 can be configured in three distinct interior versions. Whether for a relaxed weekend with family and friends, an after-work sail, or ambitious regatta racing, the concept remains consistently well considered. All variants share the same DNA: performance, weight optimization, and clean lines.

The result is an interior that does not pretend to be more than it is – but delivers exactly what matters on the water. Flexible in configuration, uncompromising in character.

Weekend-Cruiser

The Weekend Cruiser version of the Esse 890 turns every outing into a relaxed experience on the water. Sleek, sporty lines are combined with thoughtful features that make longer days and nights aboard enjoyable.

Below deck, a generous bed invites restful nights, complemented by an integrated toilet and a refrigerator that provides maximum independence. In the cockpit, a table offers space for shared meals and social moments, while the outdoor shower provides a refreshing touch after swimming or on sunny days.

Despite the enhanced equipment, the interior remains airy, functional, and open – with clever storage solutions that make multi-day stays effortless.

Daysailer

The Daysailer version focuses on the essentials, making it ideal for day trips or short sails. It combines sporty performance with the opportunity to enjoy relaxed moments on board.

Below deck, a berth provides a space for restful breaks, while the storage beneath holds the essentials and keeps things tidy. Extensive additional equipment is deliberately omitted to keep weight and complexity low and to place sporty sailing firmly at the forefront. This results in an open, uncluttered interior with plenty of room to move.

Optional add-ons allow the yacht to be customized with selected features – for those who want extra comfort when needed, without compromising the purist character or the dynamic sailing experience.

Racer

For dedicated regatta use, the Esse 890 is also available as a Racer without interior fit-out. Here, uncompromising performance takes center stage: minimal weight, maximum efficiency, and a total focus on speed. Every omission is part of the concept – in favor of optimal trim options and a direct, unfiltered experience on the racecourse.
