Esse 890 – Final assembly in Switzerland

A look behind the scenes

The hull was built in Italy over the past few months. The keel and rudder were constructed in Switzerland. At the same time, the many details of the new yacht were finalised.

In doing so, we retained many features from previous Esse models that have proven their worth. For other areas, we have developed new solutions that fit the concept of the Esse 890. It was precisely these details that required a great deal of consideration and decision-making.

Now the key decisions have been made and the final stages of work are underway. During final assembly, the electronics for the sailing instruments and the autopilot are currently being fitted, the electric motor is being installed and the lighting is being wired. The deck covering is also being laid and all the fittings are being fitted.

Work on the interior is also progressing: the upholstery and wall panelling are being finalised, gradually giving the Esse 890 its definitive character.

This is the phase in which, step by step, a finished yacht is taking shape from many individual components – and the Esse 890 is getting ever closer to its maiden voyage.

It’s time to set sail

There is already a great deal of interest in the new yacht series. Numerous prospective buyers are now waiting to experience the Esse 890 for themselves.

If everything goes to plan, the Esse 890 will be ready for its first test sail in early October. We are looking forward to seeing it on the water for the first time.
