Regatta Success for Esseboats Yachts
13. August 2024
In the summer of 2024, Esseboats sailors were able to celebrate numerous top placements in races on Swiss lakes. Several Esseboats sailing boats, including the Esse 850, Esse 990 and Esse 330, completed successful regattas.

On May 18, about 70 sailing boats took part in the so-called “Pfingstregatta” from Zurich to Rapperswil. The Zurich Sailing Club's endurance race has been held since 1928. It traditionally takes place on Whitsun and is one of the legacy regattas in Switzerland. This year, Amedeo Vacciani took second place with his Esse 990 ahead of Nicola Fuso (Esse 850) and ten other Esse boats. Only starting at 13th place, other sailing boat types came in.
The Esse 330 delivers a strong regatta performance, as demonstrated at "La Double de Pentecôte," a race held on Lake Geneva on 18 - 19 May. Marc Fassbind took the victory in the TCF 1 & 2 class with his Esse 330.
Sailing boats from Esseboats were also able to secure victories at the Bol d' Or Mirabaud (14 June - 16 June) on Lake Geneva. Alexandre Grognuz took first place in the TCF 2 class with his Esse 850, followed by David Pertuiset (Esse 850). In the overall (calculated) ranking, the two sailors were well ahead, taking the second and third place.
Internal races, where Esse boats went against each other, we no less exciting. Amedeo Vacciani won the "20th Years of Esseboats" regatta on 10 and 11 May in Rapperswil with his Esse 990, ahead of Nicola Fuso (Esse 850) and Pierre Moerch (Esse 850).
At the SVT Esse Cup in Thalwil (7 - 9 June), Nicola Fuso was able to finish first in the overall ranking.
